Hero Fishing is a fish-shooter arcade game from CQ9, and you pay per shot, not per spin. The studio’s own post from 18 January 2022 gives the figures below. If you want the full picture of how this game type works first, read our the PanaloKO fishing overview.

For Filipino players, the first step is the lobby. PanaloKO’s lobby has a “Fisher game” section with JILI and CQ9 among its studios, so search that section for the title.

Hero Fishing figures printed by CQ9

CQ9’s post is short and specific. Every number in the table is quoted from it.

ItemCQ9’s figure
Fish speciesUp to 26
Fish payouts2X to 100X
Boss bounty500X
Bosses namedToad King, Octopus Ruler of the Sea

The post says the bosses appear from time to time and launch fierce attacks. The 500X is described as a bounty you can reap, not a guarantee.

Hero gun platforms and energy

CQ9 says new gun platforms, where hero characters engage in battle, come from racking up energy. CQ9 does not say what a new platform changes in cost or damage. Read the energy meter on screen, and check the stake line after every platform change to see whether your cost per shot moved.

A simple habit helps: note your balance before you switch platform and again ten shots later. If ten shots at ₱1 cost ₱10, the arithmetic is the same whichever hero is on screen, and any difference you see is the game telling you something.

Gauntlets, Thor’s Hammer and trapping the school

By collecting steel gauntlets and Thor’s Hammer, CQ9 says you can generate a force that traps all fish schools in the vicinity. A trapped school is easier to hit, which is why this is the item to watch for.

Treat it as a tool that saves shots, not as extra money. The trap costs nothing on its own, but every shot you fire at the trapped fish is still a stake.

What the 500X boss costs in shots

A boss bounty looks large, but a boss soaks up shots. Take an illustrative ₱2 stake per shot:

  1. 50 shots at the boss cost ₱100.
  2. 100 shots cost ₱200.
  3. A 500X reward on a single ₱2 shot would be ₱1,000.

These are example numbers, not CQ9’s. How many shots a boss takes is not in the post, so watch the fish’s health bar for a few rounds at your lowest stake. Our page on the fishing game boss mechanic shows the working.

Reading the game’s own help and the studio

CQ9 prints no RTP, no bet range and no seat count for Hero Fishing in that post. Open the game’s help or paytable screen before your first shot, find the per-shot stake range, and choose a budget you can lose. The studio’s record is on the CQ9 Gaming studio page.
