| Published fees | On Maya’s cash-in page, the statement is that cash-in via selected partners is free for the first PHP 8,000 per month combined and charged 2 per cent on the excess. The GCash schedule above was read directly, so it carries more weight than that figure, which is sourced to Maya’s own site and was never re-fetched during verification. |
Maya states these as MONTHLY wallet limits. At any given time, the balance held is what GCash states its ceiling to apply to. However often the pairing is presented as a comparison, these numbers measure different things, so setting them next to each other tells you nothing meaningful.
Recorded in 2026-09, the figures here describe that moment and nothing later. Limits and fees change at payment providers without notice, so the provider’s own page is the only source that stays current.
What Maya says about gambling transactions
No gambling clause appears in Maya’s e-wallet terms and conditions, which were read directly; they only bar illegal activity and anti-money-laundering breaches, but broadly. The consequence is stated outright in the terms for its CREDIT CARD, a separate product: suspension or cancellation of the card, for the restricted transaction ‘illegal gambling or unauthorized game of chance’. In August 2025 BSP Memorandum M-2025-029 reached Maya too, and it removed the in-app gambling and gaming links as a result. Because they are different products, a rule in a credit card agreement does not bind the wallet, and that distinction matters.
How fast money actually moves
Maya settles pESONet on the same banking day, wallet-to-wallet and InstaPay transfers in real time. This is about the rail and not the casino: before a withdrawal reaches Maya, the operator may keep it back for its own review, and that review is normally where the waiting comes from.
A per-transaction cap of Both limits belong to the Upgraded tier: PHP 20,000 per transaction on a transfer to another Maya user, and for InstaPay transfers out, PHP 50,000 per day applies, which is why a larger transfer sometimes has to be split.
Verification tiers
- Basic — Two limits apply: PHP 50,000 on the wallet monthly and PHP 50,000 on daily purchases. On this tier you get neither InstaPay bank transfers nor the option to send to other Maya users
- Upgraded — Three things are asked for: valid ID, a video selfie and a verified address. InstaPay out is held to PHP 100,000 monthly and PHP 50,000 daily, a Maya user can be sent up to PHP 100,000 daily and PHP 20,000 a transaction, purchases can reach PHP 100,000 daily, and the wallet allows PHP 100,000 monthly
- Super Users — Daily purchase and send limits both sit at PHP 500,000, next to a monthly wallet limit of PHP 500,000. Maya keeps quiet on what makes an account qualify for this tier
- Ultimate Users — PHP 5,000,000 is the ceiling for purchases and for sends per day, and also for the wallet per month. Maya keeps quiet on what makes an account qualify for this tier
The published ceiling of The ceiling goes from PHP 50,000 at Basic to PHP 100,000 per month at Upgraded, then on to PHP 500,000 for Super Users and finally PHP 5,000,000 for Ultimate Users applies to the tier stated above, not to every account.
