A screen time limit is a cap you set on the phone before a session starts, so the phone ends it for you. If you find an evening of play running longer than you planned, the phone’s own tools are the quickest fix. The wider phone checklist is in the PanaloKO mobile play basics.

The PanaloKO lobby is reached in the phone’s browser and offers English and Tagalog. The steps here come from Apple’s iPhone User Guide and Google’s Digital Wellbeing help page.

Screen time limit on iPhone

Apple’s Screen Time lives in Settings. The guide describes App Limits, where you pick apps or categories and set an allowance. Menu names differ by iOS version, so search Settings for “Screen Time”.

  1. Open Settings and tap Screen Time.
  2. Tap App Limits, then Add Limit.
  3. Choose the browser you use, or its category.
  4. Tap Next and set the time allowed.
  5. Use Customize Days if weekends need a different cap.

A limit on the browser covers every site in it, not only one casino page. That is a feature when your aim is fewer hours in total, and a trade-off when you also use the browser for banking or messages.

Screen time limit on Android

Google’s Digital Wellbeing page gives the app timer steps.

StepAction
1Open Settings, tap Digital Wellbeing
2Select App timers
3Next to the browser, tap Set timer
4Choose a time, tap OK

Google’s page says that when you run out of time the app closes and its icon dims. App timers reset at midnight, and you can delete a timer to use the app again. Phone makers word the Digital Wellbeing menu differently, so search Settings for it.

Pair it with a loss limit

Time is one cap. Money is another, and the glossary entry on the loss limit meaning explains how a cap on losses is set in advance. A worked example from that entry: a ₱1,000 weekly loss limit stops real-money play the moment the week’s net loss reaches ₱1,000. Set both before you start, not partway through a session.

Shared phones

On a shared phone, a timer helps only if others cannot remove it. Two related checks are what incognito mode leaves behind and where Chrome keeps saved logins. If you want help beyond phone tools, the responsible play page lists support options.

Choosing a sensible limit

Pick the number by looking at your own usage screen first. Both Screen Time and Digital Wellbeing show how long you spent in the browser, so you set the cap from your own history. A worked example with clearly illustrative numbers: if your browser shows 3 hours on a busy day, a 2 hour cap cuts that by a third.

  1. Read last week’s browser time on the usage screen.
  2. Choose a cap below your busiest day.
  3. Set it, then review after a week.

Menu names differ by OS version and phone maker, so search Settings for “Screen Time” or “Digital Wellbeing”.
